Memorial Day Weekend "Camping"

For Memorial Day weekend this year, Jason's parents and brother went camping. Luckily for us, it was only a half hour away from us. Because of this, we were able to go up and spend the day with them, but then go home and sleep in our own warm, comfy beds. So I wouldn't say this was the boys first camping trip, but it was their first "camping" experience. They did very well.

They sure love their Uncle Hunter. He is so good at making them laugh.

Hanging out between trips on the dirt bikes and 4-wheelers on Saturday

Of course camping wouldn't be complete without some ladder golf.

Grandma Webre and Bennett in their matching hats. So cute. :)

Trying to put the babies down for a nap in the trailer.

Success!

It's Always Fun When Grandpa Comes...

My Grandpa Damstra and Aunt Kathy came all the way from Arizona to visit us! It was so fun to see them. Grandpa wanted to meet his twin great-grandsons.

I tried to take a picture of all three of them, but my grandpa was distracted just watching the twins.

It was really cute.

So this is the only picture I have with my grandpa looking at the camera. :)

Thank you, Aunt Kathy, for driving for so many hours!

It was a great visit.

Cute story: I was a little worried about how long it would take for the boys to warm up to Kathy and Grandpa. Sometimes it takes a little while before they start acting like themselves around new people. But when my grandpa looked over into Bennett's crib for the first time, Bennett took his hand and gave him a huge smile and laugh. It completely made the whole trip worth it for Grandpa, I think.

C & B at 6 months

Here is a series of sleeping pictures, simply because I think they are so precious when they are sleeping.

Bennett

 Cooper

Cooper (I don't know if you can see it, but he is smiling. He must be having a good dream.)

Bennett

Bennett left, Cooper right

This little punk is Cooper. He has this impulse to roll onto his stomach whenever possible, even in his sleep. This usually wakes him up and then he starts whining. He does know how to roll to his back, he just seems to forget when he's tired. As soon as I walk into the room to check on them, Cooper gives me this winning grin. He tries to use his cuteness to get out of naps. I will admit, it is pretty hard to resist. He has recently learned how to sleep on his stomach, which does make things a little easier. But I always have to go in and check on him to make sure he can breathe.

The boys LOVE their play gym. Cooper left, Bennett right

I just love this picture. Bennett floor, Cooper lap

Bennett is really good at tripod sitting.

Cooper is still working on it. Hence the blurry picture. He was tipping over and I was moving in to catch him.

Cooper has figured out that if you touch the screen on the iPad, things happen. So now he's always trying to play with it.

We went for a walk around a park in Pleasant Grove while Daddy was playing tennis.

Mother's Day Weekend

We went up to Brigham City for Mother's Day. Heather brought Ayla down from Boise. So we got to meet Ayla for the first time. She is such a doll. And she LOVES to eat. Therefore, even though she is exactly five months younger than Cooper and Bennett, she is comparable in size. We always have a blast spending time with Jason's family. Mother's Day weekend was no exception.

All three babies doing floor time

Jason playing tennis with Marie, Hunter, and Jenny

While the twins, Ayla, Heather and I hung out on the grass.

Sorry for multiple pictures of the twins in the grass, but they had such funny facial expressions! I couldn't decide which one to share.
Cooper is in green, Bennett in blue

And of course, precious little Ayla.

Ayla, Cooper, and Bennett all lined up

Friends

In our Orem ward there were a lot of young married couples because of the apartments that we lived in. We all had a great time hanging out and we have become fast friends. Now that Jason and I moved about 30 minutes away from everyone, we like to find every opportunity to be with them. Luckily, Megan had a birthday not too long ago. Thanks Megan!

What lucky girls we are....

Cooper looks annoyed that we dare interrupt their play date to take a picture.
