April 2016

The boys are learning some fun songs in Primary this year. There are some that I had no idea they knew and all of a sudden they are doing the actions. It's kind of funny. "Do As I Am Doing" is one of their favorites.
Here is Bennett's rendition

Tessa loves to pull the books off the shelf and then flip through the pages. She will often disappear and I will find her "reading" books.

Cooper really wanted Tessa's shoe. I was confused until he showed me that it was a car (or something) for his dragon.

Spring has sprung!

Tessa is perfecting her fit-throwing. She was blowing impressive snot bubbles during this session.

Food solved all her woes.

Getting a piggy-back ride from Dad is always a hit.

The boys loved to pretend they are ghost-monsters and walk around with blankets on their heads. Tessa picked up on this and she does a pretty good ghost-monster herself.

For my birthday, Jason got me a little cheesecake. I was eating some while the kids napped one day. When Tessa woke up she discovered the plate and proceeded to eat every last crumb that I had left behind. She's my girl.

Jason was craving cookies one day so the boys and I made snicker-doodles. Well... Cooper was snitching the sugar while Bennett actually helped me roll the dough in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. They don't like cookies (except for Oreos) so they didn't even want any of the finished product.

This is Tessa's favorite way to reach the piano. She is definitely tall enough to reach just standing on the ground, but this way is more fun. Notice: she is standing on one foot. Show-off...

One of the boys' favorite books is Dragons Love Tacos. When I saw this shirts on sale at Target I just KNEW we had to get them. (Cooper grey, Bennett blue)

Megan and Alena came over to play one day. The boys took turns riding in the truck while Alena pushed them across the whole yard. It was really cute to watch. (This is Cooper pictured.)

This is a daily occurrence at our house. When the boys wake up in the morning, they always crawl into our bed with me. Jason captured this moment with Cooper and I was completely oblivious until I was looking at pictures on my phone later on.

The boys LOVE books too. They will often "read" books to themselves after I have just read them. It's amazing how much they remember. Here is Bennett "reading" the book "Dear Zoo".

Tessa is a fabulous kiss-blower now.

Cooper was wearing his beanie like this one day and it totally cracked me up. Totally reminds me of the dwarf Dopey.

Women's Conference 2016

All of my mom's sisters came to Utah for Women's Conference this year. It was so fun to see them!

Meeting up at City Creek to check out Temple Square

Bottom: Cooper and Bennett

Sweet Cooper on the top floor of the Joseph Smith Building.
(Elder Christofferson stopped briefly to say "hello" to us before running to the bathroom)

Grandma Williams showing the boys the flowers

Bella and Audrey with little miss Tess

Trying to get three kids to look at the camera is a very difficult task when there is so much exploring to be done.

Vicki, Bella, and Tessa patiently waiting outside the bathroom.

Audrey, Susan, and Lily
(We ran into and talked with Elder Gong of the Seventy right after our bathroom break. Welcome to Temple Square!)

Bennett is in the blue jacket

The cousins at the temple

After seeing the older girls do it, Bennett really wanted to stand in "the princess spot" too.

The girls were so cute with the kids.

The Heintz Sisters! Juli, Vicki, Susan, Sandy

Listening to the Christus presentation

Juli was the Tessa Charmer. I can't even get Tessa to fall asleep on me but within minutes of meeting Juli, she was snuggled up. They both needed the cuddles.

Beautiful flowers!

We ate at Olive Garden after being tourists for a few hours.

Clearly this is the reason they give you two forks, right? (Bennett pictured.)

Cooper and Bennett chowing down on their spaghetti

My cousin Nikki also made the trip out to Utah! I haven't seen her in years and years.

While walking into one of the classes at the Marriott Center, a friend of Sarah's from Wisconsin stopped us and introduced herself. She said that she recognized my face from pictures. Small world. Haha. This is Melanie Jackman.

Love my family! (Susan, Sandy, Katie, Vicki, Nikki)
Side note: Bennett saw this picture while I was posting this and started labeling everyone. "Susan, Grandma, Mommy, Mickey, and Mickey. Two Mickeys!!" Close enough buddy. Haha

Apparently this is the new way to take notes from a powerpoint: you just take a picture of it on your phone. Genius.

Water Table Fun

Tessa is old enough this year to enjoy the water table as much as her brothers.

Her favorite thing to do is drink the water.

Splashing with Bennett

Look at how cute she is in her swimsuit. :)

I was pulling weeds in the garden while the kids were playing in water so they would come over and play in the dirt. Tessa was rather muddy by the end. I was rinsing her muddy feet in the sink and she decided to just climb in. Since she was wearing a swimsuit I just let her play in the water for a while.

Of course she had to sample the water.

It turned into a bath. Bennett was my little helper.
