The boys looked so cute in their Sunday Best that I tried to get a picture of them. They were not cooperating and the classes were just being let out so the hall quickly became chaos. This was the best I was able to get. At least Bennett is smiling.
Tessa loves to wear other people's socks. Her favorite is her brothers'. She will find them (usually from their sock drawer) and bring them to me to put on her.
I love the way Tessa drives cars around on the floor. She walks around bent in half and makes car noises.
Summer time means filthy kids every day. Which also means more laundry and clean up for me. But at least they are happy and playing outside! In this picture, Tessa just got done playing in the garden (before the seeds were planted) and had a pretty thick layer of dirt everywhere so she got stripped down to her diaper. You can see the dirt lines on her feet.

It is such a blessing having Aunt Susan live a half hour away. My kids ADORE her, as do I.
One of Tessa's favorite pastimes is to empty her diaper drawer.
Cooper was flinging a headband all over the room and then it disappeared. He kept pointing up and I quickly figured out why. It got snagged on the ceiling!
Cooper was so proud. He came out of the bathroom and showed me how he styled his hair all by himself.
Tessa discovered that she can hold a saltine cracker between her toes.
Cooper is becoming quite the little artist. This is a happy face with arms and legs. Can you see it?
He also wrote his own name for the very first time. I was VERY impressed.
There has been a lot of rain in Texas lately and Sarah's house flooded. A few inches of water covered their whole house. This was what Tessa was wearing in support of her poor Texas cousins. Her Texas onsie with her zebra striped pants. (Sarah's girls are OBSESSED with zebras.)
Tessa loves this tricycle and will scoot along with her feet pushing off the ground.
Another instance of Tessa wearing other people's socks. This time she has some of the boys' socks on as well as one of mine.
Because I recently got Lasik done, my eyes bruised and look quite creepy. I receive these glasses unexpectedly in the mail one day. This was Sarah's solution to my problem.
The boys thought the glasses were great but they didn't like that they couldn't see through them very well. So I popped the lenses out of a couple pairs and let them wear them.
Bennett was very please.
He wore them for longer than I thought he would and acted like he has been wearing glasses his whole life.
Cooper put them on for a minute or two and then was done.
Even Tessa got in on the action.
Well, this was the boys' second trip to the dentist. Their first trip was such a disaster that I didn't even have time to document it. They wouldn't let them go near their teeth. This time, they did a LITTLE bit better, but not much.
Cooper let them take x-rays of his teeth and clean them. But when it came time to rinse out his mouth, his gag reflex kicked in and he started puking all over. It was lovely. Bennett was less cooperative. He would NOT let them x-ray his teeth and he barely let them brush his teeth with a normal toothbrush.
I am hoping that their next visit (when they are four) will have a better outcome.
Poor Bennett was so nervous. But he did like that they had a show playing above his head.
We went to Ikea the other day and Tessa latched onto their dolls. I showed her one and she gave him the biggest hug then reached over and grabbed a second. She hugged and snuggled them both with the biggest smile on her face. It was the cutest thing ever. I almost caved and bought her one but I was able to distract her with a cracker. (She has several dolls at home already.)
The boys like to draw on their art board. Unfortunately they are not very careful with the markers when they are not coloring so they often get marks on their clothes. So they get to color with some of my old t-shirts now. (Luckily they are really good and don't intentionally color on anything they are not supposed to. *knock on wood*)
We had a picnic at the Thanksgiving Point Gardens one day. We met Jason there and it was so nice! I was able to snap some cute pictures and then my memory card completely crashed. I lost all of the pictures from that day except this one. Total bummer but at least I had just dumped my memory card onto a hard drive the day before so I didn't lose any other pictures. This is Cooper, by the way.

Every time Bennett spots my pedi-egg he asks for my foot. It actually feels really nice while he is doing it so I don't mind at all. It's like a free pedicure! Ha.
As mentioned before, Tessa loves to dump all of her diapers out. This day she got smarter and just climbed in the drawer herself before she started unloading it.
How can you get upset with that face?
And really since I just keep the diapers in a drawer it's really fast clean up so I don't mind one bit that she does this.
As we were getting ready to head to Brigham for Memorial Day weekend, Tessa was getting SUPER tired. It was past her nap time but I wanted to keep her awake until we were on the road so she would sleep on the the way there. She got so tired that she started hugging the wall.
Tessa found my purse and just slung it over her shoulder like she had been doing it her whole life. Then she walked all around the front room.
Cooper saw me taking pictures of Tessa and asked me to take a picture of him as well. Done, you little cutie!
