New Year's Eve 2013

We had a lot of fun on New Year's Eve 2013.

It started off with dodgeball at the church.

While the babies played on the stage.

The adult children then got to go to see Frozen (so cute!) while Grandma and Uncle Hunter watched the babies. When we got back, the babies had their first Cousin Bath. It was a hit, until Bennett slipped and freaked himself out.

The boys loved playing in the bag drawer.

and playing Grandma's piano.

Right before bedtime, they boys snuggled Grandpa and watched Jake and the Neverland Pirates.

After the kids went to bed, the adults built gingerbread creations.

...and played a few games. We'll end on this lovely picture of Grandma Webre. :)

We had an epic White Elephant party with our friends between Christmas and New Years. These are our gifts. Awesome, right?

Christmas 2013

The Annual Cousin Nativity

The boys got to meet Santa, and they weren't even scared! (I think it helped that he was a lot more skinny than most Santas and had a strong resemblance of their favorite uncle...)

Christmas morning

the boys opening presents. Yes, they did get boxes of tissues. They LOVE pulling them all out and then tearing them up like little nesting gerbils.

The twins discovered that Grandma's kitchen drawers are not child-locked. They loved the grocery bag drawer and the water bottle drawer.

They also practiced their walking.

Cooper and Ayla are great buddies. It's very cute. Every time they saw each other, they would hyperventilate and flail their hands around. It was like their secret handshake or something.

What the boys have been up to lately...

The boys have been growing...

...and eating Cheerios off the floor.

Cooper getting his haircut by his daddy. In order to prevent hair getting all over his clothes, Jason made a make-shift salon cape out of a garbage bag and duct tape. He looked so cute.

The boys are discovering the Christmas tree.
Bennett

Cooper

Cooper figured out how to look out the window.

The boys LOVE playing in and emptying their sock drawer. Their pajama drawer is also a favorite.

Bennett loving his brother.

Tissue boxes are a favorite at this house.

We went to the Festival of Trees

With Jenny and her roommate. It was beautiful and a lot of fun.

Thanksgiving in Chicago Part 3: Day with Mom

We got to spend a day with my Mom and her husband Gerry who travelled 3 hours for us. It was so fun!

We went to Wildberry Pancakes for breakfast. It was delicious.

Janie loves ketchup. Even on her pancakes. Silly girl.

Grandma and Grandpa Williams with their littlest grandchild, Penny.

Cooper loved the hashbrowns and eggs that I fed him. Unfortunately, later that day he broke out in hives. We think he might be allergic to eggs... poor boy.

Jaxon and Kaylee enjoyed the little snow that they saw. They don't get snow in San Antonio.

After breakfast we went to the Jelly Belly factory.

Janie started getting sick at the Factory, so the Brunsons headed back to my dad's. The rest of us headed to the mall.

We didn't eat at Rainforest Cafe, but Kaylee and Jaxon enjoyed the docorations.

Outdoor World had a fun "Santa's Workshop" set up.

And then Grandpa Gerry spoiled Kaylee and Jaxon with some Build-a-Bear toys.

It was a great day.

Thanksgiving in Chicago Part 2: Time with Family

Spending time with Family was so fabulous. I enjoyed every minute.

Pretty typical evening.

I love my sisters!

We played games a lot.

The boys played games too, while the girls were out shopping and doing girly things. :)

Bennett loved having Aunt Crystal chase him.

Jaxon and Janie are so adorable! They were good little buddies.

Thanksgiving feast!

Jaxon was so cute. He thought he was really playing with the big boys.

Bennett LOVED Sparky. As did all of the grandkids. (Cooper would play with him if he was near by, but otherwise didn't really care. But Bennett would seek him out.)
