Our neighbor, Pax, brought out her kiddie pool for her baby (10 months) to play in. The water was too cold though so she was having none of it. My kids were all about it and splashed away. Adeline was content just watching the madness.

I wear a bathrobe every morning and night. I LOVE my bathrobe. One morning Tessa walks in and says "Look! My bathroom!" It was pretty cute.
My first attempt at giving Tessa french braid pigtails. She loves to have her hair braided like Rapunzel so I rotate through a few different braids to keep things interesting.
Checking out the new exhibit at the Curiosity Museum.
Can you tell Bennett's preferred footwear during the summer? :)
Cooper and Tessa playing with play-doh
Tessa's client requested a buzz cut
but then instantly regretted it.
Unfortunately hair is hard to replace when your hairdresser is two years old...
My boys (especially Cooper) LOVE the rain!
So any time there is a down-pour they have to run around outside.
I got the honor of eating dinner with Captain America one night. (Bennett)
After dinner Jason got to race him!
Naturally Tessa wanted to race too. I love watching her arms swing dramatically as she runs up the stairs.
Bennett: "Can you take a picture of my fish?! It has a fishing pole in its mouth. Now you can you send the picture to Dad?!"
You betcha buddy.
Playing Hungry, Hungry, Hippos with the kids one day. Tessa's pigtails post-nap looked more like floppy dog ears. :)
Every time Tessa's hippo would eat a single marble she thought the game was over and we should all stop trying to eat the rest of the marbles.
(Side note: Cooper is shirtless because he has a terrible habit of chewing on his shirt collar until his whole shirt is drenched. It's disgusting and I was tired of it so I just made him take off his shirt. Any suggestions on how to break this habit are greatly appreciated.)
Went in to check on the boys one night and came across Bennett like this. Thank goodness for the ladder. ;)
Bennett and Tessa playing with their teepee
Movie night! Watching Lego Batman so Captain America graced us with his presence. I love his monster feet too.
Another night I saw Cooper sleeping with basically his whole body on his pillow except his head. These guys are movers when they sleep.
Tessa missed her nap on Sunday and by 6 pm she was beyond exhausted. But don't tell her that. She insisted she didn't want to go to sleep and asked to snuggle on my bed instead. Within a minute or so she was out cold.
Dinosaur museum. Cooper left, Bennett right.
Tessa's first blonde moment:
*looking all over the room* "Mom, where are my pants?"
Me: "Tessa, look down. You are wearing them."
T: *rather sheepishly* "Oh... hehe."
Tessa loves to have to toes painted and she sits so still until they are dry. She even sits long enough for me to do designs.
Tessa looked like a little princess one morning with her blanket draped across the chair as she watched her show.
T: "Mom, can I drink it?" (Her left over milk from her cereal.)
Tessa was very proud that she stuck her head under water past her ears.
"Mom, I want to erase my toes off."
I had to use the bathroom while watching Adeline. Since she is so mobile now I put her in the pack and play to ensure her safety. I came back out to find her buried in dolls and stuffed animals. The kids are so good to her and she was very pleased.
We had a roommate reunion at the Curiosity Museum. Here is all of our posterity.
