$2 Tuesdays

During the month of August, Thanksgiving Point had $2 Tuesdays. You could go to any exhibit for just $2 instead of the usual $10. We took advantage of it.

Here is the Museum of Ancient Life, or dinosaur museum, as I call it.

Sorry the pictures are blurry. It was really weird lighting in there.

I'm sure the boys will LOVE it in a couple of years. There was so many fun things to look at and hands-on exhibits.

Afterward Jason went fishing.

While I played with the camera settings...

On the next tuesday we went to the Gardens. It was beautiful! It also happens to be the place that Jason and I got engaged. We hadn't been back since so it was fun to revisit it.

The koi pond was fun. People were feeding them and they were climbing all over each other to get to the food.

The boys did really well in their stroller. They like going for walks.

And this is the very spot we got engaged over two years ago. :)

Two Year Anniversary

August 12, 2013 was our two year anniversary! Man, things have changed a whole lot since we've been married. We now have a house and TWO kids. Crazy. Marrying Jason was the best decision of my life. Seriously. He is perfect for me and my precious little boys. I couldn't have asked for anyone better.

Jason surprised me with tickets to "Annie, Get Your Gun" up at the Sundance Theater. It was fantastic. Jenny watched the twins for us. Thanks, Jenny!

Jason also brought home flowers for me. He is so amazing. :)

AtTask Summer Party

Jason's work has an epic summer party. It was so fun and everything was FREE!

Here is the list of activities:

I love cotton candy!

Sno-cone was delicious as well

We were a little sad the twins weren't a couple years older. They would have had a blast with all the inflatable toys.

They ended the night with a fire dancer.

Lake Day 2

Monday we went back to the lake for another reunion.

Cooper (and Bennett) hung out in the shade

Jason went wakeboarding for the first time in 2.5 years.

It was a GREAT weekend. We also took family pictures. Once I have those, I'll do another post.

Playing in Brigham

Cooper learned to sit up this weekend!

He also had fun on the swivel cars at Grandma Webre's house.

Bennett didn't think they were as awesome as Cooper did. But he did humor me for one or two laps around the house.

The Lake Day 1

We were planning on going to the reservoir to swim and soak up sun.

We piled into the car

When we arrived we discovered that it was all dried up.

So Jason and Evan played with a gun for a little while

We got back to car and found these nasty bugs all over our car.

I don't know if you can see them, but they are falling out of the crack.

So we went to the lake instead. We thought it would be a good idea to put six adults in a little canoe. We paddled to the other side of the lake and back. By the time we made it to shore we had sunk it.

Jason tried the jetski out. And wasn't very successful at that either.

Even though we basically failed at everything we tried that day, we had a lot of fun.

Hansen Park

Cooper and Bennett went on their very first overnight camping trip. Luckily we were able to borrow Jason's parents' camper.

Jenny and the twins match! (Cooper left, Bennett right)

Uncle Boyd and Cooper (?)

Pure Randomness

Here are some miscellaneous photos that I didn't know where to put but wanted to document. So you get a totally random post. You're welcome.

Sometimes Bennett sucks his binky like this. No joke.

Found a four leaf clover and a FIVE leaf clover in our backyard. I guess you could say I'm pretty lucky.

Bennett climbing the stairs. They both love to do this now. And they are getting pretty good.

He noticed the camera so of course he felt the need to pose.

We have a lot of veggies coming out of the garden now.

It's okay to play with your food, kids... Unless your mom says no.
The only veggie not on display is our pepper. We have gotten some off our cute little plant. But we don't have any currently.

Cooper crawled up, and then couldn't get out.

Nothing like mid-morning pow wows under the night stand.

Gated Community

Now that the babies are mobile, we are forced to live in a gated community.

...and out.
