Hogle Zoo Free Day Jan. 2018

We went to another free zoo day at the Hogle Zoo. This trip was not as fun (for me) because apparently everyone caught on and it was PACKED! With three kids running three different directions and me being super pregnant, it was a little stressful. BUT the kids seemed to really enjoy themselves.

Cooper climbing the Rhino. He much prefers the statue animals over the real thing because you can climb on them. Which worked out great this time because we skipped seeing a lot of the live animals due to over crowding.

 Bennett climbed to the top.

This picture was taken by the budding photographer, Bennett

Checking out a falcon or some sort of bird, I believe.

Cooper was our map keeper. He kept pulling it out to make sure we were on track. ;)

There were patches of snow that Tessa loved to stomp on.

The elephant trunk is always a favorite place to climb.

The boys love to pull funny faces these days. My deal is as long as they look at the camera, they can go for it. :)

Cute kids on a cold day. :)

January 2018

Our ward is awesome about being inclusive with activities. Whenever there is a girls night or play date, etc. they are really good at making sure everyone is invited and welcome. As in introvert, I love this because I don't always put myself "out there" so I can be easily overlooked.

For this girls night we went to watch "The Greatest Showman" and I LOVED it! I came home and listened to the soundtrack every day and couldn't wait to go watch it again. (And I can not think of a single show, besides this one, that I have loved enough to want to watch it multiple times in the theater. Normally I am content just to watch shows in the comfort of my own home.)

We went to Denny's afterward to socialize some more. We really have a great ward. :)

Tessa has mastered the art of piling as many babies as possible into a single stroller. If I remember correctly, there are five babies AND a dog in this stroller.

On January 2nd Tessa decided she wanted to wear underwear like Cooper and hasn't looked back since. She pees in the toilet most of the time but still is working on learning how to poop in the toilet.

She just looked so cute watching a show.

My Bennett boy. :)

My kids love to make silly faces (Tessa and Cooper)

Miracle of miracles: The kids happily played an entire game of Candyland (I am sure incorrectly) by themselves WITHOUT fighting! I just HAD to document the occasion.

Cute kids in my closet

We had friends over for a game night and all of the kids looked so cute watching their movie.

My adorable witch princess

We watched Clara one day and the boys LOVED handing out snacks. They pulled out everything they could find in the pantry.

"Mom, can you tie this like Grandma?"
She loves to wear scarfs on her head now, just like Grandma Williams. She calls this her Rapunzel hair.

I am slowly turning Tessa's room less pink to accommodate Baby Boy. So this chair got a slip cover.

When it warms up I will be moving it out to the garage to paint it gray.

I was able to go to another dance recital for my cousins. It was so fun! Aubrey and Owen were able to attend as well.

Tessa asked to take her stroller outside. I told her she could go in the backyard but she insisted on the front. I assumed it was because there was a sidewalk out front, but no, she just wanted to push it around in the little amount of snow we had. It had already melted in the backyard.

We try to bribe our kids to eat their veggies. (Mainly the boys. Tessa has always been a good little eater.) This night Jason told Cooper for every carrot he ate, he would get a little root beer.

Cooper thought this was a great deal and put in a valiant effort, but after a few carrots he ended up emptying his entire stomach into the trash can. Oh well, we tried.

Tessa loves wearing other people's shoes.

They just looked so cute! They were playing Red Light Green Light.
(Bennett middle, Cooper right)

I had asked the boys to get dressed, but I just couldn't be mad when I came in and found them reading books instead.

My three cuties taking a bath.

The boys have been really into doing my hair lately. I LOVE it. They tell me they are helping me get ready for a dance party. Then we go downstairs and dance. But according to Cooper I am not allowed to spin because it would mess up my hair. :)
