Ball Games

Jason's work, AtTask, periodically hands out tickets to various ball games. Just this last month we were able to go to a Bees' game. It was so fun! They had a bbq dinner before the game and we had great seats!

Then this past weekend we got tickets to the BYU vs. TEXAS game. When we got to the tailgate party it was sunny and HOT. Right before we were going to leave the party and head to the game, a huge storm rolled in and it started DUMPING rain.

The game was delayed two hours and it seemed like it was going to be raining the whole game, so we decided to just go home since we had the boys. I felt bad because it would have been a GREAT game to see live. BYU kicked Texas' trash. Jason was able to watch it online though.

Tony Grove 2013

Labor Day weekend we went up to Brigham to spend time with the family. On Saturday we went up to Tony Grove for the day. It was perfect and beautiful. I loved it. Last year when we went I was very pregnant. So I was able to enjoy it a little more this year. :)

The beautiful lake

The perfect spot. It was shaded and the picture you see above is the view from the picnic table.

Jason, of course, went fishing.

Scott and Marie brought their inflatable kayak.

He had much better luck this year than he did last year.

Kaden was able to reel one in...

...and Jenny...

...and me.

Bennett (left) and Cooper (right) did great in their pack and play most of the day. They didn't want to nap though. There was too much going on. Bennett eventually fell asleep while I was carrying him in the Baby Bjorn on a hike around the lake with Marie. Cooper crashed as soon as we headed to the car in the stroller. He didn't even stir when I transferred him to his carseat.

On our way back to Brigham City we stopped in Logan for Zeppe's. Delicious.

Monday we played Pickle Ball at the new courts in Brigham.

Garden Harvest

We are having a really hard time keeping up with our garden. It has gone crazy.

This is just one day worth of green beans.

All the carrots we've grown.

My personal favorite. Aren't they cute?

We have turned most of our garden into baby food. I love it because we are able to feed our babies fresh, organic baby food for free!

10 Months

My babies are 10 months old! And boy are they wiggly now. They would not leave the iPad alone or sit still. Here are the outtakes of Bennett to show you what I mean:

And the one picture I took of Cooper on the chair before I finally just gave up the idea.

If you want babies to sit still long enough for a picture, the Bumbo is the answer. (And a little phone bribe...)

Cooper

 Bennett

Cooper and Bennett at 9 to 10 months

Cooper and Bennett are so fun and animated now. I love it. Here is a modge-podge of pictures taken within the last month.

Bennett chillin' in his crib.

Bennett and Cooper chatting while they are supposed to be napping. This is a daily occurrence now.

Cooper tried to stand using the play mat. It isn't stable enough to hold him up. When it tipped over, he discovered that he had built his very first fort. Cooper (in red) and Bennett played with their "fort" for quite some time. Now, I swear that Cooper tries to tip the play mat over on purpose. They LOVE crawling around underneath it.

They also love to share the Jumperoo. If one is jumping on the inside, the other is usually balancing on the outside.

Cooper has decided to sit up in baths now, instead of reclining. He also LOVES splashing and playing with toys. Bennett is usually standing on the side of the tub next to me. All three of us get drenched.

Bathrooms are a favorite place to be. As soon as they see the door open, they dart inside with huge smiles on their faces. It's rather adorable. I think the fascination started because they knew bathrooms were forbidden. Now they love them because they echo. They will stand up by the tub and just yell at each other happily. I can't help but smile every time they do this.

They posed themselves like this. Silly babies...

A favorite past time of Cooper's is to bang on the wall next to his crib. Why this is so fun is beyond me. But I think he might be jealous that Bennett has a window next to his crib. Bennett loves to pull the blinds back and look out the window.

Bennett found a pen on the floor. Oops...

I love how relaxed Bennett looks when he sleeps. :)

They are getting pretty good at climbing up into a chair (or lap) and turning around so they can sit.

They love climbing all over Mommy's bed. Cooper is enjoying my pillow. I was TRYING to get 10 month pictures, but they were way too wiggly.

My precious little superheros eating their Cheerios. Bennett is Superman and Cooper is Batman. I was going to put the blue on Cooper because I often call him "Cooperman" or "Super Cooper" but Bennett kept grabbing that shirt. He must know that he is usually the one wearing blue. :)
