January 2015

Shortly after the New Year we switched the boys to toddler beds. Jason was convinced it was going to be a disaster but this picture was the first night. Successful! After we saw they could handle their beds we switched to real toddler beds so we could use one of the cribs for the baby room.

Jason rarely plays video games (except for his stupid game he plays on his phone...) but he will sometimes go on a gaming kick for a few days. The boys picked up on this and decided to "play" Daddy's game while he was at work. And they insisted on the blanket draped across them because that is how Daddy plays.

For a while the boys liked to jump from [or step off of] the bottom stair and roll on the ground in a dramatic fashion. Every time they stepped back onto the stair they would raise their hands like this and yell "tada!" It's the cutest.

I bought an annual pass to Thanksgiving Point which includes the awesome Curiosity Museum. After climbing around on netting like in the picture, you can access a plane that is suspended in the air. It is rather cool. So cool, in fact, that the boys REFUSED to get out of it. Jason and I had to literally carry them out kicking and screaming. We decided it was time to go home after that.

Jason's parents and brother came to visit us and Hunter left his hat behind. The boys had a blast wearing it every time they found it around the house.
This is Bennett sporting the hat.

For the first little while after they switched to toddler beds, Bennett always slept at the very edge of his bed. One night I went to check on them and I found him like this. It was bound to happen at least once.

We were skyping my mom one day while the boys were eating breakfast. She asked if they drank the milk after they were done with the cereal. I told her that we don't encourage that since it is such a mess. But, of course, after she said that they started to drink the milk every time. The power of suggestion. Thanks Mom....

My dad's spaghetti is quite possibly the boys' favorite food. On this day Cooper ate three platefuls before he decided he was full. I couldn't believe it. (My dad's spaghetti is my favorite too, so they have good taste.)

Baby Girl Update

I am officially 34 weeks tomorrow. Only 6 more to go! Actually, less than that since I have an induction scheduled for March 2nd.

I just had yet another ultrasound done today. This one was to see why my stomach is measuring 3-5 weeks bigger than it should be. Turns out Baby Girl has a large head like her brothers. It was measuring at about 37 weeks. The rest of her is measuring at about 35 weeks 2 days. So she is a big girl, but still doesn't account for the largeness of my belly.

They measured the amniotic fluid next and found that I have a lot of it. Perhaps too much. I am not sure what this is going to entail until I speak with my doctor on Wednesday. From what I have read online (I know, super reliable), it sounds like I will just be monitored more closely for the rest of my pregnancy. And it is possible that she will come a little earlier than planned. But we shall see. She is acting and looking perfectly healthy and normal though. So that is what is important. They were able to get a good 3D shot of her perfect little face.

December 2014

A lot of December has already been documented in previous posts. But here is the rest of the pictures from December.

The boys love sandwiches. Since they are allergic to peanut butter, they eat butter and jam sandwiches.
Bennett after a nap. He always gets epic bed head.

Cooper striking a pose with a very messy sandwich face. They love to take their sandwiches apart and lick the jam out of the middle... I do not approve of this activity.

Cooper (left) and Bennett (right) playing with their animals they got from Grandparents Webre for Christmas/Birthday.

We love going to the Festival of Trees every year. This year a friend from Oklahoma had a tree in honor of her grand daughter that died very soon after she was born. It was Dr. Seuss themed and very cute.

Here is the whole family (including little Tessa in my tummy.)

Jason's sister Jill has a bow shop online. She makes super adorable bows so naturally I ordered a few. She threw in a few extras for Tessa's baby gift. Aren't they beautiful?!

Jason had a work Christmas party. This is us all dressed up and goofing off before the party.

And last but not least... Bennett. The boys went through a phase where they would smear their poop everywhere when they were supposed to be napping. It was lovely.

2014 White Elephant Party

Apparently our White Elephant Party is becoming an annual thing. I love it! Both the Greenwoods and the Porters came to Utah for Christmas. It was so much fun being all together again! I love that we always pick up where we left off, no matter how long we've been apart.

Brooklyn, Ellidie, and Curtis with their prizes: A movie buff statue and goldfish crackers in blue jello!

Big foot slippers and Pinewood Derby car

Blake and Nicole with English pudding and Bacon calendar.

Danny and Megan with Jason's old boxers and a drink-holding cactus.

All the girls with our babies.

The group: The Greenwoods, Parkers, Webres, and Porters

2014 Family Pictures

We are really missing Jill's photography skills. We realized that we haven't taken 2 year pictures of the twins yet or any decent family pictures. We decided to have a very quick photo shoot while in Texas. Camera courtesy of Imy, Photography skills courtesy of Sarah. Twin smiles courtesy of my dad's behind-the-scene goofy-ness. Thank you all!
