This video is long overdue. It has taken me forever to figure out how to put it on the blog. It is possibly one of my favorites ever. So, when I was 13 weeks along, I found out that not only was I for sure pregnant, but that I was having twins! Since I was headed to Guam a week after finding out this news, I thought I'd wait to tell my dad in person. I will forever cherish this moment.
Just to explain what is going on: With my dad being a doctor, I thought it would be fun to just show him the ultrasounds and not say anything. He knows what to look for. The first two pictures he is looking at are the babies individually. The third and fourth pictures are of both the twins together. Also, I should note that my sister, Crystal, and her kids are skyping us on the iPad. I told my sisters and their families ahead of time that I was having twins so they could be in on the surprise. My dad LOVES being a grandpa so we knew we would get a good reaction.
Hahaha, oh man. my emotions are so wacky now a days, I started to cry when he hugged you. What a cute dad/grandpa!
ReplyDeleteI don't even have an excuse to have wacky emotions but I almost cried when he hugged you! I knew it was coming and was sitting on the edge of my seat (literally) when he started looking at the 3rd ultrasound pic. His reaction is so great!! I got the chills. And then I watched it again. Haha. Such a cute video. I also remember at your wedding when you came out of the temple and you and your dad just hugged forever. I don't know why but I actually did cried then too. I just loved this! Thanks for sharing. p.s. I can't believe you've already got one rolling over! so crazy. Miss you.
