One day while our neighbor had some construction guys working on putting a basement entry in her house, our window shattered. I still have no idea what happened. I heard them making some noise so I looked out the window to see what they were up to. About a half hour later I could hear what sounded like a bunch of raindrops or hose or something hitting our window. I looked out it to see what was going on and was shocked to find the whole outer pane shattered. I couldn't locate a spot of impact. It actually turned out quite pretty, especially with the sun glistening on it. BUT it was destined to collapse and shower glass all over below so something had to be done. Luckily one of Jason's friends is a window guy so we called him up to take a look at it. He cleaned up the broken glass and ordered a new window for us.
Over a month later on October 30 he replaced our window with a shiny new one. Our neighbor and her contractor ended up paying for it even though the construction workers denied it was their fault.
