Happy Babies

We went up to Brigham City this weekend for Grandma Webre's birthday. After church the boys were laying on the floor just wiggling. They were too cute to not take pictures. Bennett is in the striped tie and Cooper is in the polka dot tie. Cooper really does smile too. A lot. He just doesn't smile for the camera very often.

Saturday night we were afraid that the boys were going to sleep terribly because they were not on their normal schedule. Also, we had only brought their bouncers to sleep in, and they don't normally do well in those for a long period of time. Because of this, I set up camp in a recliner instead of a bed so I could hold at least one baby, if not two, all night. We tucked them into their bouncers and it wasn't until 5 or 6 hours later that they woke up! That is the longest they have ever gone without waking up during the night. After they were fed, they slept for another 4 or 5 hours! It was AMAZING. And the best part is, they slept that well last night also. I'm crossing my fingers that this is going to be the new trend. A well rested mommy makes for a very happy mommy.

Bennett Smiling

Photo Dump II

Just more random photos of the boys

This is how they love to sleep: buried in the blankets with their noses flipped up so they can breath.

I posted this on facebook, but it still makes me laugh. Jason was sick of being peed on when he was changing diapers. He got this brilliant idea of dipping Cooper's hand in warm water so he would pee in his diaper instead of his face. It didn't work.

Bennett just being cute

The boys really like to sleep on the big kid bed. This is Cooper stealing my pillow.

Tummy time!

Cooper after a bath. He was so cold that he didn't want to let go of the towel for me to help him get dressed. He just looked at me clinging to the towel with  a worried look on his face.

Wiggle time. They are loving this more and more as they are getting older.

The boys are growing (photo dump)

This post is going to be a photo dump of the boys in no particular order. Just some pictures that I like of them.

Jason feeding Bennett. Classy, I know. It's how we roll.

 Brother Bonding

 Bennett bath time!

On the right are their preemie clothes. I can't believe how small they look now. My boys are growing too fast for me. But I guess they still aren't that big. At two and a half months they still fit into the newborn size...

January 5th - Cooper left, Bennett right

 My little burritos. :)

Bennett striking a pose while sleeping

Bennett caught sucking his thumb! Big "no, no" in this house! But he's so cute doing it.

Naturally, we had to get a stocking picture for Christmas. Cooper left, Bennett right

Just too cute. Cooper left, Bennett right

I realized as I was labeling the pictures that there are a lot of single shots of Bennett. No, we are NOT playing favorites. We have plenty of pictures of Cooper too. Promise.

We are so lucky to have twins. They are so much fun!

Christmas

My mom came for Christmas this year to meet the twins and stay for two weeks. It was glorious. The boys got so spoiled being held all the time that they had a hard time adjusting to having to take turns with just me around. We need grandma living closer! ;)

This is a mug that Jason got from work for Christmas. Pretty funny.

I think this picture is hilarious. It looks like Bennett punched Cooper and was saying "oh yeah!". Disclaimer: he did NOT punch his brother. Cooper was just not wanting his picture taken.

Again with the appearance of punching....

Three generations. 3/4 of the people in the picture not crying = Success

My mom's "Texas Snowman". We called him the "Special Child"

Here are all the snowmen. Plus you can see what the outside of our new house looks like! Maybe someday I'll take pictures of the inside... but maybe not. I'm a little slow at decorating.

 Christmas Morning!
