Basement

We added an extra room and bathroom in our basement! This took FOREVER to do and it was a TON of work. I took a lot of pictures of the process, but after skimming through them, I realized that they are pretty boring and most people won't care too much about the process. So I will just show you before and after pictures. I LOVE our new space that we have!

This is your view as you walk into the unfinished part from the living room:

Our washer and dryer/ potential bathroom

I am standing next to the washer and dryer, facing the potential bathroom, and extra bedroom area. It was pretty bare.

Another view from the corner of the potential bedroom

Jason installing some insulation

And tiling the shower

I didn't take any pictures of the uncompleted hallway, but here is the finished product:
The stuff at the end of the hall is still finding a home.

Once we finished that part of the basement, we were able to organize the Dungeon a little more. It's amazing how much space is made simply by organizing! We now have an exercise room!

My treadmill. (You can see how in the hall it looks like everything is finished, but when you enter these lower rooms, the wall is see-through. The boys love to run in circles through the open wall.)

Jason's weight bench. And the queen bed propped up against the wall until we have guests that need it.

We also have a storage room! Jason built these beautiful shelves. They make me so happy! I love my handy-man husband.

Along the far wall he built a lower shelf for our bins.

and it goes all the way back!

Well, there it is! You can't enjoy the full greatness of the basement unless you see it in person. So come visit!

November 2014

My mom and Gerry were able to make a last-minute trip to see us on November 5th due to some unfortunate circumstances. Gerry's mother passed away. They flew into Salt Lake, spent the Big Birthday with us, and then drove up to Rexburg for the funeral.

My mom playing with the twins and their birthday balloons.

Bennett and Cooper with their DELICIOUS birthday cake.

All three of my birthday boys.

We weren't planning anything for their birthday because I have been called into YW and had mutual that night. Jason said that he and the boys were just going to have a "guys night". But since my mom was suddenly in town, and my aunt lives near by and wanted to see her... we ended up having a fun birthday bash!

Here are all the party guests

Cooper opening his gifts. Bennett enjoyed playing with the gifts after they were open, but had no interest in opening them himself.

Bennett playing with his car from Grandma Sharp.

Grandpa Gerry showing the boys pictures on his phone.

Grandpa Webre gave us a little money for a family treat one night. The boys got to play at the play place in Del Taco.

Bennett

Bennett SO excited after he climbed out of the slide.

While Crystal was in town for Thanksgiving with Jared's side of the family, we were able to go to the new Curiosity Museum and Thanksgiving Point. It was so cool! There was a TON of things to do and the boys loved it. I promptly bought a year pass to Thanksgiving Point so we can go again and again.

Bennett, Cooper, and Kaylee eating lunch outside the museum.

I went in to check on the boys during one of their naps and found Bennett like this. He had all the pillows and blankets and Cooper had none. No wonder Cooper was awake and Bennett was sound asleep...

While on their road trip to Utah, Kaylee kindly made Fruit Loop necklaces for Jason and me. Cooper and Bennett really enjoyed consuming them on our way up to our Thanksgiving feast.
This is Cooper

Bennett propping his feet up on his sippy cup. So funny.

The boys were playing downstairs on day and Cooper suddenly takes Kaylee's bear (while she was gone) all the way upstairs to his bedroom. Thinking that he was going to put her in his crib, I follow him. Instead, he lays Pink-a-licious on the floor and starts grabbing wipes. He wiped up her bum with several wipes and then carried her back downstairs. I have never seen him change a stuffed animal's diaper before. It was pretty cute to watch.

For Christmas/ their birthday, Grandma Webre made the boys cute riding horses. It only took Cooper a little bit to figure out how to ride them. He then walked around saying "Neigh!"

After Thanskgiving Dinner at Kim and Steve's house, we came up and decorated the Christmas tree. I am glad I took a picture of it because the boys destroyed it the very next day. It hasn't looked the same since.

October 2014

Here are some random pictures from October.

Bennett is getting way too good at working the iPad. He knows exactly which folder has the toddler games in it, and knows which games are his favorite. Cooper is getting pretty good too, but often is content just watching his brother play. (Some battles just aren't worth fighting...)

Cooper showing me a cherry tomato he picked from the garden. They love throwing these down the window well.

Cooper showing off these sweet work glasses he found.

My cute little boys on their rocking horses. Bennett is on the left, Cooper right.

The boys LOVE stacking Legos, especially right before bed time. Here is one of Bennett's creations.

When watching shows, they insist on having a blanket draped across their laps. It's pretty cute. Bennett left, Cooper right

We were pretty lame for Halloween this year. We didn't even carve pumpkins! But we did go to Jason's work for their annual Halloween Carnival. The boys picked up on grabbing candy at each desk pretty fast. Bonus: Because the boys are so small, they were able to fit into the same costumes they wore last year!

Cooper playing with one of the many balloons.

Bennett selecting a balloon.

They were too small for any of the games, but they did enjoy watching others play.

Cooper digging into the nachos. They love to dip everything, just like their mom. :)

We took a detour to Home Depot on our way home from the party, so they got to show off their costumes. Can I just tell you how much I LOVE these carts?! Huge life saver while shopping!
