Halloween 2015

The boys were actually old enough to appreciate Halloween this year. It was fun for me to see their excitement. Because we already had the dog costume that we inherited from the Webre family costume box, I decided the other costume could be a hunter. Get it? A hunter and his hound dog?
Cooper was the hunter and Bennett was the dog.

Tessa was an owl. I love Costco costumes! I was very surprised that she didn't mind the hat on at all.

They had a trick-or-treat village at Nolan Park the Saturday before Halloween.

When we got there the line was ridiculously long and was not moving at all. Plus there weren't as many booths to trick-or-treat from as I was expecting. We decided that the boys didn't care enough to wait in the line (which we found out from some friends that it took about 45 min to 1 hour to make it through). So we just walked around the outside and checked out the firetrucks. The boys were very satisfied with that.

The day before Halloween Work Front had a party for all their Employees. Because both of the boys wanted to be the dog for Halloween, they switched costumes for each event. For the work party, Cooper was the dog and Bennett was the hunter.

You could go around to the cubicles and collect candy. We got there about an hour into the party so most of the candy was taken, but the boys didn't care. They got enough and had fun.

Cooper thought this dragon was awesome and Bennett wouldn't go near it. He had to hold my hand just to walk by it.

Cooper looked so funny sitting at this huge table waiting for his balloon animal.

This is pretty much how Tessa felt about this whole event.

For Halloween itself we went up to Brigham City to party with the cousins.

The very first house.

Cooper kept trying to walk into her house while all the others kept grabbing handfuls of candy. We tried to stop them but this sweet lady said "don't stop them. This is what Halloween is all about." Bless her heart. They all caught onto the whole trick-or-treating thing by the next house.

After trick-or-treating we had a family party. Witch's brew for the drink. We also had dinner in a pumpkin.

And the traditional ghost cake.

We then played games such as minute-to-win-it and pictionary. It was a blast.
