Texas Day 9: San Antonio and the DoSeum

After a full week at the beach we packed up and headed back to San Antonio.

We stopped at Whataburger for lunch once we got back to SA.

Then we headed to the DoSeum. Thanks to our Thanksgiving Point passes, we got in for free.

This screen has a camera at the children's feet so they look like giants.

They had these really fun pen lights that you could write with.

And their water table was really awesome. There was tons of different things to do.

This slide was super big. Like around two stories tall. But my slide-loving boys didn't even hesitate to climb on up and slide down.

I am glad they allowed my little Daredevils to enjoy the slide too. :)

Back inside, we headed to a cool room that was set up just like a mini town.
There was a trolley,

an airplane,

Tessa's turn to drive.

A grocery store that had excellent service. The cashiers even emptied your cart for you.

Even if you didn't want them to.

There was a diner that served ice cream cones with ketchup on top.

And several other cool things like an actual smart car that the kids could crawl in and out of, a construction site, bank, etc.
It's a really cool children's museum that we didn't even get to half of. We will for sure have to go again next time we are in San Antonio.

But for now, family is more important. So we met up with G&G Williams one last time for a treat at Dairy Queen.

Cooper sure loves his Grandma Skype

We then had to call it a night and head to bed early so we could wake up and make it for our flight before the crack of dawn.

The pilots let the boys check out the cockpit while we were boarding.

As you can tell from the puffy eyes, we were all pretty tired.

In fact, this little missy fell asleep right as we were landing.

We made it home safe and sound and now have memories that we will not soon forget. It was a FANTASTIC trip.
