August 2016

Remember how I said that Jane wasn't feeling well the day of Crystal's wedding? Tessa brought it home from Texas with her and shared it with her brothers. Wasn't that so nice? So for a few days I had three kids sleeping all day.

I felt terrible for them because they had mild fevers and obviously miserable.

But it was sure nice to have three sleeping kids for a few days!

Tessa's first full-blown pigtails!

I love them. And I can't believe how grown up she looks now.

Bennett found my bigfoot slippers in the closet.

Of course Cooper had to try them on too.
Can you believe how big Cooper looks?! My kids need to stop growing up so fast.

The boys helped me make chicken rolls one night.
Shredding the chicken.

Plopping it down on the crescent rolls.

Trying to get a candid shot of Tessa is getting trickier these days. Every time she sees the camera she immediately smiles and says "Cheese!"

Cooper was my garden helper. He picked up all the carrots, put them in the bowl, and carried them in the house for me.

I was able to sneak away from the kids one night and go to the temple by myself. It was so peaceful and nice. Plus, by the time I got home Jason had put all the kids to bed. Yay!

Tessa put her glasses on and immediately headed for the door saying "bye, bye!" Apparently when you look this fabulous, you need to be seen. We opted for a picture instead. :)

Playing with a ball and chasing each other around the yard = pure happiness

Sometimes the boys like to comb my hair. I LOVE that they enjoy it because I enjoy it as well.

Brought the tee-pee outside for a change of scenery.

They enjoyed it for a few minutes before it quickly got too warm.

They are so adorable! (Bennett blue, Cooper green)

Sometimes just to get out of the house we would find a mall and walk around, hoping they had a play place. This mall there wasn't one, but they had these little rides that you could pay a dollar for and then they would wiggling for a few minutes. We didn't pay any money and the kids still had a blast with them. And actually one of them must have been broken or something because it was wiggling around by itself the whole time we were there. So the kids enjoyed that one as well.

We have been drinking a lot of green smoothies lately. It's the only way I can get the boys to eat veggies. Tessa thoroughly enjoys hers every time.

We went to Sevenpeaks in Salt Lake again with Grandma Webre and Hunter. The boys climbed across the water on lily pads again most of the time. They took a break for chips and a sandwich and then were back at it.

We pulled out the costume box to take inventory of what we had. The boys found the dog costume and wanted to wear it for basically the rest of the day.
Bennett makes a really cute dog, don't you think?

Tessa has been enjoying our peach tree lately. I have found several peaches partially eaten still hanging on the tree right at her mouth level. She does pick them and them as well. Haha.

This picture was taken 15 minutes before bedtime one night. All three kids were playing together happily outside. It was so hard to bring them in for dinner and bed. The weather is finally starting to cool off a little so the kids have been playing outside a lot lately. It's so nice!

The boys' imaginations are blossoming and I love it! Cooper and Tessa are in a boat sailing to the park.
"Mom! You're standing in the river!"

"There's the slide!"

Bennett wanted to go on an adventure too.
