My mom got married on June 13, 2013. Because of this event, we got to take a trip to Washington! Jason and I haven't been to Washington in two years, so I was really excited for an excuse to go. Oh, and I was really excited for my mom. :) Here is a general recap in pictures. My sisters' took most of the pictures, so when I acquire them, I will make a post of my mom's actual wedding.
My mom and niece, Kaylee, road tripped from San Antonio to Seattle since my mom was moving directly after the wedding and needed all her stuff and car. They were able to drive thru Utah and visit us on their way up! It was awesome.
My mom and Kaylee. Please note my mom's cute little ponytail. It has been years and years since her hair has been long enough for one of those. :)
Jason and Kaylee became fast friends, as usual.
This was Cooper and Bennett's first airplane ride, so of course we had to document it. A nice airport worker took a picture of us with all of our stuff.
We had to be separated for safety reasons, since both babies were on our laps. (Something about not enough oxygen masks or flotation devices) So here is Bennett and me.
Cooper and Jason. The flight attendant was nice enough to be able to move us so Bennett and I were sitting in the row in front of Cooper and Jason.
I turned around to take their picture and Bennett started fussing. I looked down to see what was the matter and as soon as the camera was pointed at him, Bennett gave me his best smile. Apparently he just wanted a picture of himself. Cute boy.
Jason is quite the ladies man and these little ladies couldn't get enough of him. They would follow him around so he would play silly little games with them.
One of those games included taking pictures on his phone with a face distortion app. Here are a few of my favorites:
Kaylee Girl
Cooper
They would just laugh and laugh after looking at the pictures.
Bella and Kimberly were also big fans of feeding the babies.
Kaylee hit it off instantly with my little cousins. Here are all three girls with my boys.
The grandparents with most of their grandchildren.
The boys got their first sample of watermelon. It was a hit. Here is Crystal and Bennett
Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Gerry with Cooper
The twins also got to meet their great-grandma Heintz for the first time. It was so fun to spend time with her.
Here is the only picture I have from the wedding. And it is just the set up. But it was a beautiful garden wedding.
On the way back we had to get a picture with Fat Smitty, for old times sake. We grew up saying "hi" and "bye" to Fat Smitty while visiting Sequim. Good times.
Two years ago Jason and I took a picture by Fat Smitty while we were engaged. Now we have two babies! Crazy how time changes things.
Aunt Juli was kind enough to let us borrow her Suburban so we could all fit into one car. It was definitely a full car, but oh so fun! Jason and Sarah in the front...
Sweet little Kaylee in the back...
with Crystal and Jaxon asleep.
The twins and I were in the middle, but I didn't get a picture of myself. Sorry.
The day before we left Washington we got to spend time at Juli's house. Leah helped out with the feeding of Cooper.
On our flight home they were able to sit us all in the same row because there was an extra seat. It was awesome! And Bennett thought it was cool that he could sit by himself. (Of course he was on my lap most of the time, but it was really nice to let the boys wiggle around a little on the extra seat)
After our short 1.5 hour flight home. We made it!
Fun thing: Crystal and company were on the same flight as we were!
It was a fabulous trip that went by way too fast. I love my family and can never get enough. Oh, by the way, the twins traveled like a dream. I was very impressed.
