My very first garden. My mother would be proud. She didn't think any of her children would know how to grow a garden because we didn't like to be out in hers growing up. But look! We didn't kill our plants! Let me give you a tour.
Here is our left garden. (There isn't anything growing in the square in the corner except weeds. Next year we'll do something with that as well)
It includes...
Tomatoes (we have three different kinds. Two big tomatoes and one cherry tomato)
Carrots...
Yellow squash...
A little pepper plant that is being taken over by our squash plant. (Can you find our pepper hidden in the picture?)
And in our right garden we have beans. Two rows. We really didn't think they would grow, since they didn't show up when they were supposed to. But they are here and doing well!
We also have a peach tree! So excited. I LOVE peaches! There are two other fruit trees in our yard, but I haven't figured out what they are yet. I think one is an apple and the other might be some kind of nut??
The first vegetable out of our garden! Isn't it so adorable? We promptly grilled it and ate it right up. Delicious!
How do you take care of twin babies AND have time to garden?! You are amazing! :)
