The kids were lucky enough to have three different Easter egg hunts this year. The first one was on my birthday at G&G Webre's house.
They dyed eggs with Grandma before the hunt.
And then the hunt was on!
For some reason, this is the only picture I got of Cooper during this hunt. And of course it's blurry.
Bennett
Bennett's expression in this picture makes me laugh. He had found an egg in the flower pot at about the same time as Ayla. He was eyeing her to make sure she wasn't going to take his egg.
The second hunt was hosted by the city at Nolen Park. This is the first year we have made it to this hunt. It was a little crazy and crowded, but the kids did manage to get a few eggs each.

Standing on the starting line. The youngest age group was for ages 3-5 and no parents were allowed on the field. But since Tessa could go out by herself, we let her get some too. She ended up running back to us after retrieving each egg so she only managed to get three. But it was still considered a win in her book.
One of Bennett's eggs had a number in it that he exchanged for a prize at the prize table: jumbo sidewalk chalk. The kids immediate started playing/destroy the chalk as soon as we got back home.
On Easter (April 16th) we headed over to the Klippels' house for dinner and another Easter egg hunt. Susan is so sweet and even prepared Easter baskets for the kids.

The hunt is on! (Scott's brother, his wife, and twin boys also joined us this evening)
