We took a day to tour Temple Square with the Brunsons. They had never been before.
We had a button pushing team (Jane, Bennett, and Penny) for every elevator ride. All three of them had to have a finger on the button before it was pushed.
Checking out the fountain at City Creek.
Clearly Sarah is just as impressed with this cheesy video as the kids are.
I love that Penny gave me thumbs up for nearly every picture.
Checking out the Christus statue.
Tessa: "Look, Mom! I can touch His big toe!"
Cosie was not a fan of all the pictures
I had to take a pumping break so Sarah kept all the kids wrangled in the basement of the visitor's center. I felt bad because there isn't a whole lot to do down there so I was surprised when I came out 20 minutes later and the kids were still not ready to leave. I guess anything can be fun when you have cousins to play with!
Jane asked me if we could go see the "hat couch". I had no idea what she was talking about until we rounded the corner and found this:
It does indeed look like a hat. So naturally we needed a picture on it.
After several hours walking around in the hot sun the kids were DONE. But Jane was insistent that we see the Conference Center before we leave.
We took a quick tour with our very patient tour guide.
Exploring the roof
One final picture by the reflecting pool before heading home.
