Hanson Family Reunion 2015

The Hansons are my grandmother's family. They used to have reunions on a regular basis. Since the family is getting so large (over 700 descendants from my great-grandparents) they have decided that this year was going to be the last year. This year marks my great-grandparent's 100th wedding anniversary. Pretty incredible.

Juli, Sandy, and Susan. Three beautiful sisters. Vicki wasn't able to make it out to Utah.

Crystal and Jared. Each family line had an assigned color of shirt. My grandma's line was army green. Because Jared wasn't planning on attending until the last minute, he got a neutral purple shirt.

Grandma entertaining the boys during the welcome presentation. Bennett is in her lap, Cooper is in green.

Tessa checking out her toenail polish.

Jaxon, Bennett, and Cooper playing a memory game on Grandma's tablet.

It's hard to believe I am related to so many people. And this isn't even half of them.

We put the boys' name tags on their backs so they wouldn't take them off.

They had a photo booth set up. Bennett kept grabbing the props and bringing them over to show me.

Crystal and Janell

The giant slide they had up in the morning.

We got there right before they took it down so the boys got to slide down once. They are obsessed with slides so were begging to go down again. Sometimes I wish it didn't take so long to get three small children out the door.

Hanging out at our table.

All the parents taking pictures of all the kids aged 18 and younger.

The boys did surprisingly well just sitting still for the picture.

Juli, Jon, Aubrey, Glen, Jared, and Jaxon

Here is a representative for all the different colors. My great-grandparents had 7 kids. My grandma is 3rd to the youngest.

With it being the middle of summer and the gym being so full of people, it got really stuffy and HOT fast. We found a much cooler room to hang out in downstairs.
Bennett (looking at the book) and Cooper playing with some of the toys Crystal brought.

Jared and Jason playing Dominion.

Lily playing with the boys. Bennett is on her and Cooper is laying next to her.

Tessa happy as can be wiggling on the floor

Playing with Lily again.

Christopher watching Jared play computer games.

I am trying to take a picture of Tessa while Bennett is climbing over my back.

There was a table representing each of the seven siblings

Bennett showing of how very large his shirt was. This is why they were not wearing them the whole time. :)

(I don't know the lady in orange.) Juli, Susan, Scott, and Audrey

Aubrey, Jenny, and some people in orange that I don't know but apparently related to.

The Wallin clan. Joyce's family is the only other family besides my grandmother's that I actually know. Joyce was the youngest sibling and was close with my grandma. She passed away last year.
