We only grew a few things in our garden this year. But what we did grow were successful.
This is one batch of strawberries that we picked. Our strawberries were MUCH more successful this year than they were last year.
I even made freezer jam out of them!
We were able to enjoy some corn but it was not as bountiful as it was last year.
Our beautiful strawberry patch.
We grew pumpkins! We had five pumpkins total but one got totally eaten by bugs and grubs.
And our green beans. We did not plant these this year because we were too late. BUT because of the super mild winter we had, we had two volunteers sprout up! I replanted them under chicken wire so they could climb. They did surprisingly well!
The boys loved to come and check out the garden. Especially when I was picking the strawberries.
Isn't this the cutest little sad face you ever did see? She really knows how to work it to get what she wants. I have a really hard time resisting her when this look gets thrown my way.
The boys ADORE Tessa. Cooper is giving her a hug.
Cooper, Tessa, and Bennett in the chairs that Grandma Sandy bought them. Tessa is finally big enough to sit in it by herself without tipping over!
Bennett talking to Tessa.
This is a coordinating outfit with her girl cousins that Grandma Imy bought her.
Once again, the boys (including Jason) trying to make Tessa laugh. She is such a happy girl and loves the attention from her brothers.
Cooper insisted on wearing gloves to help me pull some weeds.
Bennett wanted in on the fun. The boys chose to wear swimsuits this day.
Tessa pulled herself up in the crib by herself! She was rather proud.
One day the boys wanted to play outside but it was raining. Their next idea was to "keen up". I love that they love to clean. (Bennett in stripes, Cooper in grey shirt)
Tessa went through a phase where she was always standing like this. It's funny because it looked like she was just going to push herself up into a standing position and walk away.
Tessa modeling a headband I made for her.
Cooper was pretty excited for the new "hat" that came in the mail.
My cute family. The boys always insist on pushing the cart when we are at Costco. I also had to document Tessa's first time sitting in the shopping cart.
Bennett helping load up the cart.
Seriously, these boys are such great helpers.
Bennett showing off our first pumpkin! It was a largest one and turned orange way too early. We were a little worried that it would go back before Halloween, but we stored it in our basement and it survived!
Cooper and the pumpkin.
The shy look
We bought a second bike trailer on KSL for $10 so that we could go on family bike rides again. Tessa's carseat fits perfectly in there if we wedge a couple blankets on the sides to secure it.
The boys started to dress themselves.
They love to push the truck all over the yard and then just sit in it. Bennett is riding in it, and Cooper is standing next to it.
My little climber. She was having a ball climbing all over this nursing pillow.
