Escape Artist

Tessa just upgraded herself to a toddler bed...

Sunday morning I am getting ready for church when I all of a sudden hear Tessa's door rattle and a little girl walks out. I thought she was asleep in her crib. Previous to this, she has never even been able to open a door let alone CLIMB OUT OF HER CRIB! I was super confused how she did it. She repeated her antics when she was supposed to be taking a nap later that day. We decided to set up the camera in her room to see how she accomplished the escape.
Once she realized her abilities, there was no stopping her. We were a little worried that she would hurt herself at some point so we ended up just taking off the front of her crib and she now has free range of her room. We did put a lock on her door though so she is contained. As of June 26th, Tessa is in a toddler bed. She is a week shy of 16 months. At this age the boys were just barely learning how to walk.
