December 2016

Thanks to Tessa, my kids are dancers. The boys would always look at me like I was crazy before when I tried to get them to dance. But now Tessa was born a dancer, they have picked up some moves as well. It makes me happy.

The boys build and rebuild their train tracks countless times a day, every day. It is by far their #1 toy of choice.

This Nativity gets to stay out of it's box during the Christmas season. The kids can play with it through out the year if they want, but when they are done they have to pack it up again, except for December.

Tessa is a fantastic little mommy. I went in to check on her one day and she had wrapped up Baby Anna up in her favorite blanket and was gently rocking her to sleep. I will often catch her in that very same chair reading her babies a book or two as well.

Thanks to my sister Sarah's recipe sharing, I made my very first pot pie from scratch. It was also my very first pie crust from scratch. And it was delicious.

Jason's work party this year was at the South Towne Expo Center. The theme was red carpet/Grammys. Workfront definitely knows how to throw a party. When we got there a band called National Parks was playing. They were really good. Then after dinner they had Ryan Hamilton (a comedian) entertain us. It was fun.

Cooper loved the Christmas tree so much that he gave it a hug.

Tessa and her twins. She insists on carrying them both around at the same time. Not an easy feat for someone so small. She kept dropping them. But she is a good little mother and I overheard her say "sorry baby" after bumping one of their heads. She also laid them both down for naps on her bed so she could finish her lunch one day. Baby Anna is on the left and Baby Rose is on the right.

Jason's mom needed pictures of each family for her news letter this year. So we quickly snapped some after church. I just love these three. (Bennett left, Cooper right)

Bennett: "He wearing sunglasses. And he has no hair. It fell out onto the floor because he was running too fast."
