DAY 4:
Jason and Bennett headed out to the beach to collect shells while the rest of us were still waking up.
This is serious business
He was pretty successful.
My handsome boys. :)
When he got back to the house, Bennett proceeded to hand out shells to everyone.
After everyone was awake and ready, we headed to the Texas State Aquarium.
Every visit requires a picture with a dolphin, right?
We came just in time for the dolphin show
Kaylee gets really into everything and it's adorable. My boy, on the other hand, does not seem impressed...
After the show we went down to see the dolphins under the water.
Kaylee wants to be a dolphin trainer when she grows up. So she was ecstatic that the dolphin seemed to be following her across the tank.
All the adults chilling while the kids ran around.
I can't remember what was in this tank that they were trying to touch. I think sting rays?
The seals
This tank was cool because you could actually touch jellyfish.
All the boys wanted to do was splash in the water. I tried to stop them because no one enjoys getting splashed, but it was not easy.
All of us!
We had Hawaiian haystacks that night.
And then since it was our designated Christmas Eve, Grandpa is telling the Christmas Story to all the grandkids.
Then we opened our Christmas jammies!
Showing off their new jammies. (Cooper left, Bennett right)
Everyone in their jammies
The traditional girls picture. This is a very unfortunate angle for me, however. This picture alone motivated me to start exercising again as soon as I got home.
The boys still playing their never-ending game of Axis and Allies.
Christmas all ready to open in the morning.
