A Day in the Sun

It has FINALLY started to warm up and we had to take advantage of the sun while we had it. So we spent most of the day playing outside.
I loosened the sand in the sandbox and the kids played in that...

...while I decided to tackle the strawberry patch. I had to pull out all the dead leaves from last year so the new growth could grow.

I had no idea how much green was underneath until I started to uncover it.

Later that afternoon we pulled out the bubble guns and had some fun.

Cooper's facial expressions were cracking me up.

Tessa would get too close to the bubble guns trying to pop the bubbles, so Bennett was telling her to back up.

We have two guns and it works out great. The boys have fun creating the bubbles and Tessa has fun popping them.

That evening my wonderful neighbor brought over some of her old bikes that her set of twins have outgrown. Such a blessing! I was just looking into getting the boys some bikes when she emailed me asking if I wanted theirs. She also gave us the boys tricycles last year when her twins out grew those.
