This year was Tessa's golden birthday! She turned 2 on the 2nd. I tried to make it fun for her by taking the kids to a new play place in the University Mall in the morning, going to the dollar store for some balloons, and then coming home for lunch and naps.
I tried taking this pictures during nap time, so she was kind of grumpy the whole time. Well, until I started chasing her around the yard.
When Daddy got home she opened presents. She got some new doll clothes and a balance bike.
Her birthday cake was a cinnamon bundt cake, per Jason's request. I feel like it was fitting because the whole time I was pregnant with Tessa I craved cinnamon. :)
The next day we received a package from Grandma Williams. She wanted to skype us when we opened it, so the kids had to wait for her to finish her dinner first. They were all so excited about the package that they decided they ALL needed to hold it until Grandma was ready. That lasted for about 5 minutes before the boys lost interest. Tessa held out for another 15 minutes or so. Then Cooper wanted to hold the package again. They kept taking turns for 45 minutes.
Tessa got a new baby with a carrier, the boys got some squirt guns and stickers. Grandma also threw some sparklers in the package. That evening we tried them out.

On Saturday, Grandma Sharp came to give Tessa her birthday presents. She got a couple ADORABLE new outfits and a Rapunzel doll.
The boys insisted that Grandma read them their "Look Inside the Body" book, which has over 100 flaps to flip. Grandma Sharp was a good sport about it.
