For weeks before Grandma and Grandpa Damstra were coming the boys kept asking to see a calendar and count down the days. The night before they were to come, the boys could not contain their excitement.
Three happy kids after picking them up from the airport.
Milo approved immediately as well.
Our first stop on the way home was the mall for lunch and Build a Bear. We had a long list of activities to do while they were here. Might as well hit the ground running. ;)

Build a Bear was more crowded than usual because of a promotion they had a few weeks ago called "Pay Your Age" Day. It seemed everyone in the nation with small children wanted in on the action and lined up at Build a Bears around the country hours before it opened and waited HOURS after opening to get a bear for the price of their kid's age. We showed up to the mall an hour before it was scheduled to open and the line already wrapped all the way the outside of the mall so we didn't even try. I told the kids that maybe when G&G came we could go. Later that day the news was saying they had to close down lines due to fire safety and there were a lot of angry parents. To make up for the disaster of a promotion, Build a Bear offered $15 off coupons to be used anytime within a 2 month period. Lucky for us, G&G were coming within the allotted time so we were able to use them. But everyone else wanted to take advantage of the deal too so the line was longer than normal. But it still wasn't bad. Especially when you have great company. ;)
Doing the Heart Ceremony
They each got to push the pedal for the fluff machine while their animals were being filled.
Tessa had a general idea of what she wanted but kept going back and forth between a few animals. Once we saw this pink unicorn from My Little Pony we knew nothing could be more perfect for Tessa.

Giving their animals a bath
Grandpa got to push the pedal for Milo's Chewbacca bear.
Naming their animals
Meet (Left to Right):
Starwar [Cooper], Funny Man [Bennett], Sparkles [Tessa], and Chewels [Milo named by Grandpa]
All done and ready to head home.
Tessa and Grandpa playing peek a boo while waiting for others to cycle through the bathroom.
Milo snuggles at home.
Soaking in their grandchildren time. (Milo can breath, promise. He was wiggling around and just happened to be face down when I snapped this picture. Haha.)
We all love when Grandpa and Grandma come!
