G&G Visit Day 4: Park City and SLC

Bennett gave Grandma Imy a taste of his sweet dance moves before we left the house on Day 4:

On Day 4 we were planning on riding the train. So we woke the kids up early, packed lunches, and hit the road. We got to the train station with 15 minutes to spare and were surprised to see the parking lot basically empty. Dad ran inside to buy tickets while Imy and I started unloading the kids. Just a few minutes later Dad came back and informed us that the train doesn't run on Mondays. We laughed at ourselves and started packing the kids back up. Cooper started to cry. He told us he wasn't sad about the train (we would just go tomorrow), instead he pointed to these ply wood cut outs. Apparently he just really wanted to take a picture in them. Bahaha. Okay buddy, we can accommodate that.

It was a good thing we stopped though because Milo was near blow-out conditions in his diaper. So we changed that and hit the road again.

Since we were already up the canyon we decided to continue on to Park City for lunch.

It was a beautiful day to enjoy Main Street.

We found our usual Deli (we knew it was kid friendly).

I told the boys they were sharing a drink. They came up with this double straw idea all by themselves.

Love my silly boys!

The food portions were very generous. Next time we go we will need to remember that one kids meal will feed all of my kids. One adult meal will easily feed two adults.

It sure was delicious!

We had to take a picture outside the Deli so we could remember what it is called for next time. (We wandered main street until we found it this time because we couldn't remember.) It's call The Deli on Main Street so... that should be easy to remember. Haha.

We continued north up the canyon so we would could stop in Salt Lake before we completed the loop and head south towards home.

We all had to do a bathroom break as soon as we arrived at City Creek Mall. The kids found this couch in the women's bathroom and made themselves comfortable.

They couldn't resist playing in the fountain.

We decided to check out the Family Search building with all of their interactive activities.

We had fun inserting our faces into old pictures. Tessa's favorite was this one because she got to wear a very large crown.

We found a picture with six people in it. I love how it turned out.

They had a fun play area for the kids right by the computers.

We headed to the Church History Museum next.

The kids LOVED the kid area in the museum. We stayed there for a couple of hours.

Bennett wanted me to replicate the temple that was on display. As soon as it was done he asked if he could wreck it. Typical. ;)

We played with the kids for a while then just camped out while they kept playing. We finally had to drag them out so we could head home and I could pump.

On our way out we found these nativities from all over the world.

Since Jason served in Ecuador we had to get a picture for him.

It was so hot we decided to stop at the food court on our way to the car so we could enjoy some smoothies.

Tessa asked me to take a picture by this statue.

One last stop at the fountains.

After the kids were in bed we pulled out the card games. We actually played games every night but for some reason I forgot to take any pictures of that except for this one.
