Porterfield Wedding: Luncheon

After the sealing and pictures we headed to Lupe Tortilla for the luncheon.

Tessa was playing near the door when this kind worker stopped and played with her for a few minutes. He would move his hand around on the glass and she would follow with her hands. It was the sweetest thing.

The spread.

Jaxon was cute playing with this guitar. He would pretend to pluck the strings and even make the noises to go with it.

I was trying to get a picture of Tessa shoving her face full of tortilla, but as soon as she saw herself in the camera (it was on selfie mode) she immediately smiled and said "cheeeese!"

Crystal was able to be more sneaky about it.

Funny story:  There was three empty spots in front of the bride and groom so my mom told me to sit down as she pulled out her own chair right next to me. Tessa was faster though and climbed into my mom's chair first. Then Gerry was helping another little girl into the other open seat unaware that that was supposed to be his chair. Gerry and my mom ended up at a different table completely. That is how Tessa and I got the prime seats right across from the bride and groom.

The only time Tessa had to nap during the day was while we were driving to each of the venues. She took advantage of that time well, although she still only got to sleep in half hour increments if she was lucky. She was VERY tired by the end of the day.
