It had been a little while since we had visited Thanksgiving Point and I just recently finished a new jean quilt we needed to break in so I decided to take the kids on a picnic.
They had their hearts set on going to the Dinosaur Museum so we spent a little while there first. As usual, they ran through it pretty fast and we were in and out in less than an hour. Then we headed to Ashton Gardens.
Bennett picked this nice shady spot to eat lunch.
Cooper had fun wandering around finding sticks while we ate.
Then we headed to the pond to feed the fish.
It was so pretty to see all the blooms on the pond.
I captured this stealthy creature in the Secret Garden.
Besides feeding the fish, splashing in the many fountains is a favorite activity.
