Legacy Center Swimming

On Saturday we decided to do something fun as a family and try out the Legacy Center in Lehi. The boys have always been super cautious around water so I wasn't sure how well they would like it, but it turned out to be a huge success. By the end of the day all three of our kids were little fish.

Tessa started out fearless and swimming everywhere. We had to keep a close eye on her because she didn't know her limits. It was really fun watching her enjoy herself so much.

Cooper splashing at the edge of the kiddie pool while he warmed up to the idea of getting wet.

Bennett trying to be brave.

.... and Tessa swimming around as happy as can be.

Jason worked with the boys in the "deeper" end of the pool (barely deep enough that the boys couldn't touch) to float around and semi-swim. After their personal sessions with their dad, they realized that swimming was fun and they really enjoyed themselves.

Jason took the kids around the lazy river. It was FAST!

Jason tried to talk the boys into going down a slide...

... but they weren't that brave, so Jason went down himself.

This was the play structure in the kid section of the pool. Tessa LOVED the big slide and went down it several times with me at the bottom to catch her.

After a few hours of playing they kicked us all out of the pool so they could clean it (I am assuming) so we took that as our cue to leave. It was really fun and we will definitely have to go back sometime.
